for those who don't know,
Gestapo Khazi is a great new band based out of long beach, CA. they have been working their asses off playing tons of local shows over the last year and
i've had the opportunity to catch a few of their sets. it goes without saying i was pretty excited when their drummer traded me a copy of one of their ultra hand made
cds! the art is a combination of
spray paint, screen print, and good old fashioned splattered on paint which gives each
cd a "one of a kind" feel. it even comes with a little insert with lyrics
desperately scrawled and photocopied together with more paint splatters. they have a 12", a 7", and two splits that were all released this summer,
i'll be making posts about those as soon as i can get my hands on them.....
