California Daydream Photo Zine...

i just finished putting together the first photo zine based on my photography blog California Daydream.  this is a 48 page book of full color printed photographs i've taken over the last 2 years while i've been exploring the idea of "the failed west".  somewhere between the lush palm trees and ever-expanding freeways something went wrong, and this is what it looks like thru my eyes.  i printed these on a xerox copier using 60 lb light grey paper with a 80 lb charcoal cover.  5.5" x 8.5" and made in an edition of 50 books, you can purchase your copy for just $8 shipped anywhere in the world from my store.....

With The Light Of Truth.

my good friend Keath Moon recently teamed up with friend and band mate Dan Smith to help him compile an amazing collection of tattooers, art, and profiles of some of the best straight edge artists around the world into a 256 page hard cover book. this is a 9" x 13" full color professionally printed and bound book that is filled with rad tattoo art from each of the artists included as well as a page of each of their personal art. this is highly recommended eye candy for anyone enthusiastic about straight edge, tattoos, or just looking for a killer new book for their coffee table. the pairing of Dan's sharp eye for recruiting amazing and unique tattoo work and Keath's meticulous and tight graphic design style gives this book a broad range of appeal that virtually any person could enjoy...

Daniel Johnston Art Book...

i recently picked up this great book of Daniel Johnston art at a local record store, not sure if it's new but it was the first time i ever came across it. i've been a huge fan of Daniel's art for many years and always enjoy seeing his work in galleries, so i was very excited to add another one of his books to my collection. what i really love about his work is that it is brutally honest in its intent. Daniel is able to go out and create whatever he feels like without any sense of concern for an audience. in this book, Rizzoli New York was able to compile a collection of more than 80 never-before-seen artworks spanning Daniel's entire career. this is a beautifully printed hardcover book with a fold-out poster sleeve. as always, the work showcased on these pages are a colorful explosion of pure surrealist expression. check out some of my favorite pics and then go search out a copy of this book for yourself.....
