Seven Inches To Freedom #10....

Joe sent over a new issue of Seven Inches To Freedom for us to check out, and it's a real looker just like all the previous editions.  this time the whole book was i color offset printed with a blood red ink, with 2 color covers made on a natural tan paper.  folded and staple bound, these things look great!  soak up some of the aesthetics in the pics and then go grab a copy for yourself...

Strange Obsessions Art Opening...

some of you may have noticed that this blog has been a ghost town over the past month or so. i have been very busy getting everything in order for the opening reception of my 3rd solo art show at Cella Gallery in North Hollywood this past saturday.  the show was titled "strange obsessions" and featured a new collection of large-scale mono prints as well as a selection of collage art, art prints, and even some of my daily drawings.  take a look at some pics from the event that my good friend walter took and sent over, and be sure to stop by the gallery if you are in the area!  the show will run thru october 13th...

California Daydream Photo Zine...

i just finished putting together the first photo zine based on my photography blog California Daydream.  this is a 48 page book of full color printed photographs i've taken over the last 2 years while i've been exploring the idea of "the failed west".  somewhere between the lush palm trees and ever-expanding freeways something went wrong, and this is what it looks like thru my eyes.  i printed these on a xerox copier using 60 lb light grey paper with a 80 lb charcoal cover.  5.5" x 8.5" and made in an edition of 50 books, you can purchase your copy for just $8 shipped anywhere in the world from my store.....

Seven Inches To Freedom #9...

Here's a real quick post for your viewing pleasure, it's the last (but not least) submission from Joe down in Florida, this time with his newest issue of Seven Inches To Freedom Fanzine. I am a huge fan of this fanzine, every issue I've seen looks great and this is no exception. Joe is always able to conceive a thoughtful, in-depth analysis of the punk world as it's happening around him and deliver it in a tight and consistent layout that is enjoyable to read. Page after page, you get a sense of Joe's love of his craft as every last aesthetic detail is cared for. It actually reminds me a bit of the Touch & Go zines of the early 80's, a true contender for the cut-n-paste photocopy hall of fame. Enjoy the photos, and click the link to where joe has some copies for sale, it's well worth your $2...

Focus On The Negative Art Zine #2

i recently finished making the second Focus On The Negative art zine.... for those not aware, Focus On The Negative is a daily drawing blog i maintain as a place to post up some of the dumb shit i draw throughout the day. i've been posting drawings there for nearly a year now, so i had quite a lot of content to sift thru for the pages of this new zine!

this is a 50 page digital xerox printed zine on light grey paper that's been finished off with a transparent vellum cover. i made a limited run of 50 books, you can purchase one for yourself HERE if interested....
